Join local macrame artist, Tayla David to create your very own macrame plant hanger during a relaxing, crafty winter evening
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2022 from 7-9pm
This workshop is beginner-friendly, as Tayla will guide you through each step of the process. You will learn a few classic macrame knots and techniques and leave with a chic plant hanger for your home, or to share as a beautiful & functional handmade gift for the holidays. Bring a friend, family member, or come solo! You are guaranteed to have a great evening creating a piece of fiber art and enjoying seasonal refreshments.

Macrame cord, wooden ring, scissors, ruler, light refreshments
What you’ll need: yourself + your creativity! We will use eco-friendly zero-waste cotton fiber from women owned small businesses in the USA.
Please note plant pots are not included. (But you can easily grab one right down the street at Sage!)
ABOUT TAYLA
Tayla is a certified yoga instructor and macrame creator located on the north shore of Massachusetts. Tayla found macrame in early 2020 during the pandemic when at the time she was out of work due to COVID-19 and was looking for ways to keep her mind and physical self busy. Since she started creating, she has sold her handmade macrame in local shops, salons, yoga studios, at markets + she also teaches macrame DIY workshops!
ABOUT THE STATEROOM
This historic 220 year old brownstone building just north of Boston serves as the setting to hold a series of immersive modern art installations as the focal point for events, dinners, wellness workshops, yoga classes, celebrations, product popups, garden parties, film, video or photoshoot. The 1,500 square foot Stateroom features three walls of windows allowing natural light to flood every corner, a unique 15’ domed ceiling, gleaming hardwood floors and convenient downtown location making this the perfect space to connect, gain clarity, create, and collaborate.
