The North Star
A modern holiday setup aptly named The North Star. An elegant curved contemporary couch ideal for fashion, edgy brands, holiday & New Years photography or intimate celebrations. A floating installation filled with shining gilded stars, hanging lights, rich velvet emerald greens and gold tones create the perfect palette. Finding your North Star helps you live with purpose and gives you a reference point to move in the right direction.
Winter Ice
We’re excited to announce the Stateroom will feature twice the opulent options for you and your clients this holiday season. This elegant addition includes not one but two spectacular oversized realistic trees (9’ and 6’) dripping with crystals, icicles and snowflakes flanked by dozens of silver presents. Our modular boucle fabric couch and chair can be arranged in front of this setup (or moved aside for standing portraits). Draping fabric will help to create an intimate setting for this enchanting backdrop.

Traditional Holiday
THE ORIGINAL STUDIO at 76 State Street
A traditional holiday theme as done in years past with neutral tones that compliment the beloved textures of the original interior. With the addition of a new beautiful, taller 10’ aspen pine flocked tree! While this studio is ideal for photography it also works well for hosting a creative workshop such as cookie decorating, wreath and ornament making. $75 an hour (4 hour minimum)

If you need to reschedule more than 30 days in advance you’ll be issued a studio credit. Simply email hello@theNBPTstudio.com. A $100 rescheduling fee will be applied once a new date is confirmed. Your studio credit will never expire.
If you cancel less than 30 days of your rental date, you will be liable for the full value of the rental. (No studio credit will be issued). You’ll need to book a new date or time online.
There are no refunds given for cancellations of any kind.

Well behaved pets are allowed with clean paws. If your black dog sheds please do not place them on the white couch. If your white dog sheds please do not place them on the dark green couch. Thank you!

Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel your rental. Due to the elaborate nature of both setups and the expense to create them there are no refunds given for cancellations of any kind. Sorry, no exceptions.

It wouldn’t be the holidays without music! A SONOS speaker is located in each studio. None of the studios are soundproof, please keep the noise level to a reasonable volume, especially during the weekday to be respectful of our neighbors. Thank you!

While no refunds are given because of inclement weather, if an ice or snow storm emergency is declared and Newburyport Parking is banned on the day of your rental you will be issued a full studio credit to use at a later date and you will not be charged a rescheduling fee.

We recommend if you’re planning an experience or photoshoot that is not holiday themed please book the studio prior to October 1 or after January 1. Once the setups are in place they’re not to be moved (with the exception of the couch).
The Stateroom will still have white areas to photograph with a long modern modular boucle couch & chair. The Original Studio conference room area will not be decorated.

If renting the Stateroom: Free, 2 hour parking is available right outside on State Street and around the corner of the building. There are also a handful of paid 3-hr parking lots within walking distance and a parking garage ($1 per hour) located at 83 Merrimac Street down the street where you can park all day!
If renting the Original Studio: When you rent the Original Studio you will have 1 free parking spot available behind the building. If you park in the designated studio space you will need to put a piece of paper on your dashboard saying ‘The Newburyport Studio Renter’ so you do not get towed, parking is now being enforced. One designated parking spot will be available to renters behind the studio building! This narrow cobblestone alley to the parking lot can be accessed from Pleasant Street or Prince Place (directly before or after the studio entrance at 76 State Street). If you are in the public parking lot you’ve gone too far. To access the parking lot this cobblestone alley does not have a street sign or a name so here is a Google Maps Pin to show it’s exact location.
Renters are allowed to park in spot #20 for the duration of their rental. If there is snow covering the number the spot please park in front of the outdoor AC units on the ground (to the left of the two large green dumpsters.) If your rental period is from 1-5pm this parking space will be available to you from 1-5pm (not before or after). Renters are liable for any damages to the vehicle or if personal property is taken from it. All liability to the vehicle and personal properly is the responsibility of the renter.
